Ithaca jazz legend Johnny Russo has released a new CD, titled All Original. The CD contains 16 original compositions by Russo (some co-composed by Doug Robinson), written between 1984 and 2007. Russo is accompanied by the guitarist Robinson, and the East Hill Classic Jazz Group.

I first heard Johnny Russo and Doug Robinson at the Commons in Ithaca, New York, in the summer of 2005, delighting a crowd with their swinging '40s and '50s sounds. The release of their latest and liveliest CD is great news for Russo-Robinson fans, and for music-lovers everywhere.
